This reagent is formulated for dissolving protein and organelle pellets using Minute™ kits from Invent Biotechnologies or similar products of other manufacturers. Solubilized proteins are denatured due to the presence of SDS and can be used for trypsin digestion and for subsequent mass spectrometry analysis.
